“When we purchased land on Canandaigua Lake, we knew we had a big job ahead of us. The land that we purchased needed major modifications in order for it to be inhabitable. We needed a 2/3 of a mile road built on a fairly significant grade, and the land required major excavating in order to build a house. Furthermore, we wanted a dock, boat hoist and changing house down at lake level, which meant a set of stairs going down a steep bank. We got quotes from several contractors for all of these jobs.
